CURRENT STATUS Due to a sports-related fracture, we are unable to host guests at the moment. A boy joined our family in 2020, and we are trying to help him see more of the world. We welcome visits or stays, especially from couples or families with kids. We moved into an apartment in Banqiao, near the Far-East Hospital MRT station. We are usually busy during weekdays and have a schedule for the weekends, but we are continuously finding time to make our place feel more like home. When we have the opportunity, we can host people or meet travelers. Since our boy, You-Jun, joined our family, he can be quite naughty. If you decide to stay with us, please be prepared for some noise, interruptions during our conversations, and many questions from him. :) If you are okay with that and our house rules, please remember to let us know. ABOUT US ----------------------------------------- We are backpackers and have traveled together in Asia, Africa, Europe, North America, and Latin America. Not only do we enjoy sightseeing, but we also have a passion for learning about different cultures, histories, languages, and trying traditional foods. As hosts and surfers, we love meeting different people, learning from each other, and sharing experiences. We are friendly and easy-going. Through Couchsurfing, we have met many wonderful locals and fellow travelers from around the world. For us, Couchsurfing is not just about "free accommodation"; it’s about communication and sharing. Although we have quit our jobs to travel around the world, we are hard workers when we are employed. We focus on improving our professional skills and earning money for our travels—work hard, play harder. We love books, music, and movies, so it would be great if you could recommend some from your country. We also love culture, local food, cuisines, festivals, and stories. HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING ----------------------------------------- Help others who get into troubles or have problems during their journey. Through CS, we can meet people from countries all over the world and learn something from them. Surf in several places during our trip. Share each other's life and culture, do something together. Try to meet new friends and find language exchange opportunity, which is also interesting. COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE ----------------------------------------- Most hosts/surfers we met are amazingly friendly. It's so nice to chat with other travelers at different places. Most of them are open-minded and willing to explore and share things!
