I am very new to the Couchsurfing community and haven’t decided yet what to write here. I love meeting people and learning more about the culture. I hope CS is the best way to learn new things from other people and believes that it would be a great experience.The first images that pop up in your mind when you hear the name 'God's own country', Kerala, are of the backwaters, coconut trees, house boats and of course Kathakali, elephants, chanda (a percussion instrument) melam and puttu with kadalai or fish curries. But not many (especially those travellers from other countries) would have seen the thick forests, unique art forms, tribal villages and Malabar cuisine. Welcome to North Kerala, a lush green topography yet to be explored widely and which offers perfect getaways for those who are looking for adventure, culture and the serene, thick forests. Trust me you should definitely explore a few such places to see the less known facets of the state.

I would listen to anykind of music which I could relate to and has some meaning. Right now, I would prefer Radiohead over all other bands. I would also love to listen to Alt-J, Arctic Monkeys, AC-DC, SOD, Tool... Daft Punk ( the list goes on.. ) I am a big fan of Non- Linear movies. Pulp-Fiction would be my favourite one. I prefer movies which has many layers and is related to matters which reflect on the current society.
