Aging American software engineer, perhaps a little odd, perhaps a little nerdy. Progressive, open-minded, feminist, anti-racist, and so forth. Vegetarian, but not militant. Smoker, and not "trying to quit". I have a very lazy, friendly cat. I'm happy to host visitors to Basel who are NOT racist, homophobic, or anti-feminist, AND have a basic command of English. It's probably best that you can handle someone who smokes on the balcony, and a cat who loves to cuddle.
