My name is Helen and in February 2018 my friend Sarah and I are going on a year long trip around South America! This is something we are both very excited about and looking forward to experiencing different cultures, learning more about the world and meeting new people! I am a primary school teacher from Leeds, England and my friend Sarah is an occupational therapist.

Couchsurfing is something I've heard about from one of my best friends - she has hosted and also been couchsurfing many times as she explored lots of places in Europe and other parts of the world. She recommended this as a great place to meet new people and learn more about each city or town you visit!

I enjoy pop punk, rock, punk, indie and pop music but also other genres of music too! I love going to festivals and watching live music. My favourite things to watch are mainly documentries and series e.g. always sunny in Philadelphia, Peep Show, Love etc. I like reading crime and thriller books.
