I love travel and travelers! I lived in Chicago area for most of my life, but just recently moved to Charlotte, NC. Getting familiar with Charlotte is fun and exciting, as it’s all new to me. I’ve previously traveled in Spain, Canada, Mexico, Thailand, Hong Kong, Costa Rica, Colombia, and Indonesia.

I am on couchsurfing because I love to experience new people and new cultures. I have been a member on workaway.info for a while now, and have had a lot of great experiences hosting guests. One of my guests who stayed with me told me about couchsurfing, and wonderful experiences she's had with it, so I decided to see what it's all about!

I hiked to the top of a giant waterfall in Indonesia, and when I arrived at its peak, there was a monk meditating on a rock at the edge of the waterfall’s cliff. It was incredibly scary and serene at the same time. He motioned for me to come over and join him, and I did!
