I grew up in Texas but was stationed in Colorado after high school when I joined the Air Force. I separated and went to school for music (music composition). Wanting something more secure, I got into teaching English/classroom technology. I moved to Thailand to teach and intern for a while and then to Colombia. I currently live and teach/do research in Colombia. I still compose music on the side, mostly choral and orchestral. I seem to have found a good balance ;)

Presented the United States Colors for the national Anthem as an Air Force serviceman during the 2007 World Series (baseball). Being on the field and feeling the roar of the crowd was unforgettable.
