CURRENT MISSION roaming Iceland with a perma-grin ABOUT ME A reticent, introverted Finn runs strongly in my blood, but I can be prevailed upon to sing karaoke or swing dance or play awkward games at parties (maybe). ;) I need to run to be my best, body and soul. And some poetry needs to come out of me onto paper. I'm convinced that a weekend in the mountains or by the ocean is something everyone should do, often. I've always wanted brothers and sisters, and I usually make them out of my friends.

Some all time favorites... Sigur Ros matches my soul. Radiohead matches my mind, and Beck matches my heart. Those three never get old for me. I enjoy a range, from classical to NIN, from electronic to Sinatra. Generally love rock and roll and hate top 40. My first concert was Bruce Springsteen. I am constantly buying interesting books and starting all of them and never finishing them. Its a problem. I think College broke me.

Things that grab my attention and make life engaging.... hmm. good long runs, history lectures, big adventurous books, art that makes me go wow, happy Golden Retrievers, fog, electromagnetic waves, music that tells my eyes or soul a story (not just fill my ears with noise), well done tattoos, wide open spaces, rocks! pie! homemaking, simple adventures, or a bit of wildness. Setting goals and trying to find joy in the little things I can do to accomplish them. Anything mysterious, anything kind.
