I am a 22 year old bloke from down under who's just taken leave from work and studies to explore South America with his girlfriend for a year. Loves a good beer/wine and going out to see live music! I'm very active and cannot spend a day without exercise, swimming, walking, going to the gym are all ways I like to stay in shape (And to allow me to chow down on more empanadas). Honestly I'm just looking for somebody to laugh at my jokes and share some of their experience with me :)

I'm on couch surfing to meet people from all walks of life and to hopefully learn more about the cultures I may not have been exposed to. Minimizing costs of travelling is just a bonus to a more genuine way to explore and experience an unfamiliar place.

Teaching English in a boarding school in Kenya, while trying to learn Kiswahili, Kikuyu and a couple of the kids could only understand sign language. I have learnt to appreciate the value of communication! Also skydiving was awesomee
