I'm James! I was born in Mobile, AL but currently live on the beach outside of Carrabelle, FL. I'm the director of a career development/conservation program that does hurricane restoration and forest management as well as working at an alternative school. I was in the Peace Corps in Sierra Leone and spent a year studying in India in college. I've also called western Montana and western North Carolina home throughout my life. I'm a musician and love travelling around to concerts. I'm also an avid outdoorsman and love kayaking, camping, hiking, frisbee, and anything where I feel free under the sun or stars.

I once backpacked to Logan Pass in Glacier national park and got to witness the most beautiful sunrise this Earth has ever seen (I'll fight anyone on that) at daybreak on 4th of July- shared only with a church group of Blackfoot people singing songs.
