Well, I love surfing, and I love laying on the couch... this appeared to be the ideal combination of my hobbies. I also have a - constantly growing - bunch of planned destinations up my sleeve and after experiencich CS, this can really make traveling easier.

I like meeting people. It is never the same experience, no matter if it's just a smaltalk at the bus stop or couchsurfing experience :) I plan to do at least one long distance hike next year, such as Appalachian or Pacific Crest Trail.
