I like small crowds, prefer hidden gems more than the typical attractions and enjoy life's simple pleasures. I'm married to my best friend. We love South Africa and Africa as a whole and would like to assist people to have the best SA experience they can possibly have. We both grew up in small towns, but currently live on a farm just outside Paarl (about 45 minutes drive from Cape Town) What I find most exciting about travelling is to not plan too much, just enough to relax and see the journey unfolds as we travel. Meeting people from different cultures along the way just makes it so much more interesting.

We like to give advice and help people see the best and most beautiful places while visiting our beautiful country. We would appreciate receiving advice from locals when visiting their country. We like the diversity of our world and enjoy learning about different cultures and all the lovely foods, manners and music that comes with a culture.

Music: Basicly anything except heavy metal or songs with a phrase on constant repeat. Movies: The Guernsy Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society is one of my personal favourites and many many more! Books: Mostly Afrikaans writers with Irma Joubert as my ultimate favourite

Scuba dived with sharks (don't ask me what type - I'm not good with those type of detail) Parachute jumping! Drove with a Nissan Datsun (very small bakkie) on a very rough 4x4 route and camped with the view of Semonkong Waterfall in Lesotho next to us.
