I'm a free spirit who opens his laptop during half of a work day to develop software and then spends the other half renovating a house in "the most beautiful village" in the Netherlands. Only doing one thing bores my mind and I've recently decided to start taking workations in other countries. Budapest Hungary was the first!

When I was 22 I was asked by a friend to hitch hike to a little village in the middle of Hungary called Soltvadkert, ..., the next day! It was a competition and his buddy chickened out at the last moment. I had an exam that day which I knew I would fail and my friend convinced me to cancel it. I had never hitch hiked before but went for it. The next day we ended up around Hannover Germany, then Brno Czech republic and on the third day we made it there and had an incredible time and also visited Budapest. Many years later I decided to go to Budapest again and fell in love to the city.

I'm currently finishing my house which is a renovation project. Still I've been able to host multiple guests during the process. I'm able to offer a private room which might not be finished but I will make it as comfortable as possible during your stay.
