I'm currently enrolled as a degree seeking student at the University of Maryland in College Park for a masters in public policy with a specialization in Social Policy. Before starting graduate school this last September I served as a City Year Corps member for City Year Miami, which is where I'm from. I served as a voluntary teacher basically for one year. Prior to City Year, I earned a bachelors degree from Florida State University in Sociology and English. I'm a hispanic woman from Miami, FL and have a strong interest in politics of education.
