Hi everyone! My name is Jet and I'm a 24 year old Dutch girl. At the moment I'm studying Italian language, culture and literature at the University of Bologna, and in my free time I love to travel, read, socialise and practice ashtanga yoga. My mother tongue is Dutch. Apart from Dutch I'm basically fluent in English and by now my Italian is pretty good too. Before I ran this account together with my ex, so the references are also directed at him. I decided I didn't want to loose my account, so I made it my personal one because it was already in my name :).

I love travelling, especially with couchsurfing! I've had some great experiences with this website that I'll never forget about. I love to meet new people and get to know new cultures. I love the open-mindedness of this comunity, and feel like everybody can be themselves.

I love to spend time outside, but I'm not a big fan of the cold! That's why I prefer to travel to relatively warm countries, to escape the Dutch weather a bit.. One of my favourite things to do is yoga, though at the moment I spend most of my time studying. I started a bachelor this year in Amsterdam (Italian language, culture etc.) so my next trips will probably be to Italy, so I can practise my speaking and listening skills. Another thing I love to do is scuba diving, which I discovered during my trip to Asia (where I met some amazing couchsurfing hosts!).
