ABOUT ME Hey my names Jo and I'm a travelling singer/musician from the UK. For the past 5 years I've just been travelling and/or working doing all sorts of things in my hometown in England, The Congo (Africa), in South Africa, Australia, New Zealand, parts of America, France, Portugal, Italy and hopefully many more places to come. As a person I am bubbly, adventurous, easy going, fun, always up for a laugh...and easy to laugh with/at haha! I also speak french so would love to meet other frenchies to practise speaking with. Also keen to learn more Italian and Spanish if anyone wants to teach me :) I can teach you french/guitar/english in return! :) I love music, art, drama, dance, movies. HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING I'm looking for places to stay (unfortunately can't host anyone yet but may be able to in the future when I am settled). Also interested in meeting new people/finding jobs etc. COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE Haven't done anything yet. Mainly stayed in hostels up and down the West Coast of Oz/with friends/family round Europe and parts of Africa. But very used to settling in new places so happy to give advice/chat with anyone who needs it. Have done summer seasons, winter seasons, backpacking, working abroad - you name it.

Mainly into films and series as opposed to books (terrible I know) and of course lots of music. Love a good action film or comedy and of course the occasional romcom. But NEVER horror :D And of course I love ALL kinds of music! (Folk jazz pop blues reggae - you name it!)

South Africa - I stayed on a remote farm with 3 adorable kids with no internet, barely any furniture, no running water (for the first day), no tv's, no laptops. Just the trees, grass, nature and beautiful sunsets and star gazing. So magical!

A giraffe's tongue 40cm long and it is dark to prevent sun burn :D Otters hold hands with each other whilst they sleep! :) And snails do need some salt to survive, just in very small amounts - Giant African Land Snails often like a cuttle fish shell in their box to supply them with salt and keep they're shells strong. Why is the sky blue? Anyone know?
