I'm from a little village in Leicestershire where everythings been quite samey for the last 27 years of my life. I'm extremely open minded and inquisitive about the world and the differences across it. After COVID I realised there are we never going to a be a right time to do this, so in early 2022, I sold everything I had, quit my job and embarked upon a journey I always talked of doing. I've hitchhiked from my home to the middle east so far, and then hitchhiking as far east as possible, aiming for Australia.

I'm on couchsurfing for the same reason I'm hitchhiking even though I have my drivers license. Because its fun to talk, and meet new people and learn new things about new places. I really would love to get to know you and things about your culture! In return I will tell you about how good English food is and how you shouldn't believe the lies you've heard about it 😂

Ending up in Ukraine in June and accidentally making a million friends and being able to help many people whose lives and homes were destroyed by assisting in (sometimes literally) rebuilding their lives.

I enjoy learning languages and speak Russian to an okay level! Also want to learn Spanish and French at some point but I'd love to learn local stuff to wherever I am too. Got really into bouldering recently and am thinking about getting into bicycle touring too. Really enjoying travelling by hitchhiking right now though, great fun meeting people. I'm also quite handy at fixing things, specifically motorcycles but anything really as it's quite fun.
