I'm from Montréal's southwest. I used to study film in CEGEP (similar to college). Then I went on to study litterature at UQÀM, only to find out that music might be a better field for me. I have been playing guitar for a while, and I am currently in a band called Makhno with two of my friends (gritty semi-electronic noise-ish music with minimal percussions ''à la'' Moe Tucker/Bobby Gillespie). If I'm not doing anything ''musical'' or freezing my ass on my bike on my way for a rehearsal, I'm probaly somewhere in my basement taking stuff apart trying to fix it, putting pieces of wood together or in the kitchen cooking something.

I like to listen to the sound of ventilation systems and electrical hum, but also to artists such as Ariel Pink, Connan Mockasin, The Durutti Column, Homeshake, Oneohtrix Point Never, Throbbing Gristle, Health, Boards of Canada, Andy Stott, Crystal Castles, The Jesus And Mary Chain, Lesbians On Ecstasy... and classical guitar (Brouwer, Mompou, Bogdanovic, Baden Powell(the Brazilian one), Steve Reich) I do also enjoy reading Charles Bukowski, Guy Debord, Raymond Carver.

Wandering through Montreal's decaying infrastructures, fiddling with synths, collecting shady leaflets and flyers, going out for a beer in the park or an alley with my friends.
