I frequently travel solo, so I like meeting new friends along the way. Even when I have a place to stay I enjoy meeting up for a beer or to see the city. I love the concept of Couchsurfing, I would much rather stay with someone and get to learn about them and where they live, than stay in a hotel. Hopefully you can learn a little from me as well. While I'm home, it's nice to meet people from around the world and show them around my home city.

I like almost all genres of music, my favorite is classic rock/folk-rock. I like the Beatles, Stones, The Who, Pink Floyd, Bob Dylan, Simon and Garfunkel, Paul Simon, Billy Joel, Elton John, Bruce Springsteen, Jimi Hendrix, Buddy Guy, RHCP, Beach Boys, Journey, Jimmy Buffett, Wintersleep, Hey Rosetta!, GBS, The Eagles, Wu-Tang, AC/DC, Pearl Jam, Steely Dan, Stevie Wonder, Neil Young, Tragically Hip, Journey, CCR, Coldplay, Kool and the Gang, Santana... so much more good music in the world. My favorite movies are Step Brothers, Limitless, Shawshank Redemption, Shutter Island, American Gangster, Star Wars, Harry Potter, Anchorman, Pineapple Express... many others and some documentaries. Some books I've enjoyed are Into Thin Air, Night, Hunger Games, The Electric Kool-Aid Acid Test, Open (Andre Agassi), Harry Potter, The Hobbit.
