Hi there, After living the majority of my life in The Netherlands I decided for a chance; to see more of the world. The first step was accepting a job offer to work in Saudi Arabia. After 4.5yrs working in the Middle East it was time to move on, and since Feb. 2015 I am living and working in Canada.

I am on couchsurfing to meet new people, both travelling and hosting. After living in Saudi Arabia i have come to realize that there is so much to learn and experience when in contact with people from outside your own (small) social circle and through CS I really hope to continue to get in touch with new people.

Living abroad for extended times I have learned that you got to be open and active if you want to make your social life a success. A job or career can be really satisfying, but there is so much more to life than work alone!

I love sports such as squash and running. My favorite time is the summer in Canada because it allows for outdoor activities and having a nice cold beer on a patio when firing up the BBQ :-).
