Hi, my name is Kapil. I describe myself as a sociable and friendly person who enjoys what life has to offer but always on the lookout for any adventure that comes along. I have been living and working in San Francisco bay area for almost two years now. Before moving to California I lived and worked in New York metro area where I also attended Rutgers University for my Masters. I like water sports like river rafting and kayaking/canoeing, I like hiking, camping, swimming, playing tennis and ping-pong, I am also learning snowboarding and skiing and often visit ski resorts around the northern Sierras.

我为什么使用Couchsurfing
I believe the best way to enjoy the area you live-in is to share it with people who travel to it. Couchsurfing is an excellent way to do just that and at same time meet interesting people and make new contacts around the world. Beyond hosting I am also interested in trying CSing on my next trip. Not to save money, but to get to know the locals.

Anything that’s got a nice melody never mind the lyrics but it also adds to its beauty. I listen to Coldplay, Jason Mraz, Bruno Mars, Ronan Keating, John Legend, Chain Smokers, Ed Sheeran. I like movies and TV shows that leaves a mark in you after watching it may it be its plot or story or originality. Shawshank Redemption, Godfather, Notting Hill, Schindler's List, Rang de Basanti would be a few to name.
