Dia dhuit (hello in Irish)! I'm Kate, from Galway in the West of Ireland. I am 34, I work for a herbal medicine company training people on how to use herbs for health. I am also a reflexologist and yoga teacher and I run a weekly women's circle among other passion projects :) I am new to couchsurfing but have travelled in India, Nepal, Cambodia, Thailand, Vietnam, Spain, France and Portugal and had amazing experiences through other sites like Workaway. I'm excited to be planning more adventures and meeting new people :) I garden and cook and I love laughter, dancing and watching the moon rise from a different point on this big round spinny thing we call home. I would love to have more travel in my life this year and would love to do it in a way that means I meet local people and have a different experience from the well-trodden tourist route! I plan to be back and forth to the UK quite a bit this year for herbal training and would love to meet people on these short trips rather than getting a boring old Airbnb

I love folk music and anything with twinkly guitar :) But I also love a good boogie so anything I can move and groove to! I play the fiddle, and I am learning the guitar and ukelele slowly
