I grew up in the most beautiful parts of California, daughter of a State Park Ranger. First traveled internationally in 1966 with a 3 week drive to Panama with some of my friends and family in a VW bus. It was great, but not so good as to do a round trip drive, so we found a passenger-freighter passing through the Panama Canal Zone, coming back to Japan from South America. We had a great week onboard, learning how to play bingo in Enlish, Spanish, Portuguese and Japanese. After marrying my family returned to Panama to live between 1974 and 1980. I worked there as a nurse, gave birth to my third and fourth children and learned to fly a single engine airplane. So we bought an old Cessna 172 and flew to California with the youngest two kids. Then up to Washington state and across the US to New Jersey. I like to travel, and that was a very unique trip. In more recent years, I moved back to California, remarried, had two more wonderful children and worked as a nurse. We started a non profit to share our ranch and horses with people, and promote healing. We are members of the Baha'i Faith and believe that we are created to learn and to love. So we love learning and show our love to God through service to humanity, and one of the wonderful services is hospitality.
