Hi! I'm a small town girl who just graduated college and am now teaching. I have always had the overwhelming urge to travel and just go places - anywhere really, and now is finally my chance to do that! I am a band teacher, and I enjoy playing my trombone whenever I get the chance. I hope to continue my education to get my Masters in Performance in the near future. I love learning new things and I love teaching - to be honest, I like teaching a lot more now than I ever thought I would when I was in school. I'd like to think I'm a pretty chill person - very organized and on top of things, but also relaxed and laid back. I am a coffee addict, so I am always looking for a hip little hole-in-the-wall coffee shop. I also am a huge fan of dark beer and love to find new breweries.

我为什么使用Couchsurfing
I'm on Couchsurfing because I am going to be traveling soon - and while I could probably afford a hotel room if I ate only Ramen for the next few months, I'd love to save the money for actually doing things on my trip instead. I'd also very much like the chance to meet new people in the places that I'm going. I hope to get out of my comfort zone and create ties with lots of interesting people and places. I think it'd be pretty cool to stay with someone local who can tell me what and where I REALLY should visit! I'm not certified on here because I'm not yet sure how often I'm going to be able to travel.

教学、学习、分享
I love teaching music. It is a universal language - and at that, it is a whole 'nother language. I also like to learn about anything and everything (well.. Maybe not quantum physics, but I'll still try to follow along =) I love to learn about the history of places and things, so I think that getting to stay with local people would be greatly beneficial in that aspect. They could provide a lot of knowledge, and since I'll be traveling on my own - hopefully some company as well!

Being music teacher, I really do love almost all kinds of music. Jazz and orchestral music are probably my top two that I've studied and enjoyed performing. I do listen to modern music as well - I know all the words to most of the songs on the radio. =) I love being outdoors, but there's not a lot to do out here in Russell. I hope to someday live where there are more outdoor activities besides hunting or riding a bike around the whole town in one short ride. As much as I like being outdoors, I also love to be a hermit once in awhile. =) Curling up with a good book to read or a good show on Netflix to binge watch with my cat and a cup of coffee is one of my favorite things to do.
