For me, life is about connecting. That's it. Mostly with people, whether that be spending time with your friends and family, chatting to a stranger on a bus, teaching a student in my class about the solar system or helping him feel more confident in his own abilities. But it's also about connecting with the environment, this big beautiful planet we live on together. Which is precisely why I'm on Couchsurfing. What better way to see the world, connect with local areas though local people both like and non-like minded.

Well, I suppose this depends on your definition of 'amazing' but I have skydived, won a bronze medal at the 2015 commonwealth karate championships in India, become a black belt, sat on court to watch the 2009 Australian Open tennis final between Federer and Nadal, visited the Taj Mahal, lived in a remote village in Laos for a week and built a new school building.
