I'm Lauren, I've lived in London for two years and I'm trying very hard to get my own theatre company up and running! During the day, I run the arts admin department at a school, and at night I rehearse, write, sing and sometimes sleep. I have 10 Giant African Land Snails as pets, which most people find really weird. They like staring at me when I'm in my room and eating all of my vegetables.

I love getting home and watching Orange is the New Black, The Office and Mr Robot after a long day. I'm reading An Unquiet Mind at the moment which is amazing, and will read The Center Cannot Hold after that. I love Emancipator, Radiohead, Ludovic Einaudi and anything remotely dark, jazzy and ambient. When I'm feeling more upbeat, I love Pulp, The Doors, Naked and Famous and The Strokes. I also love the odd musical.

I do a lot of Meisner technique as an actor, and I'm sort of teaching my friends how to sing. I'm not amazing but I know breathing techniques and stuff. I can also teach people about Giant African Land Snails, as I've had them for almost two years, and know a lot about their care requirements. I know that's kind of specific and irrelevant to many people, but yeah.
我的兴趣
I like swimming, singing jazzy songs, writing novels/plays and reading books about the human mind. I'm on a bit of a health kick at the moment so I love walking everywhere, it's a great opportunity to people watch. I like flexibility training as well, as I just like being flexible. When I have money, I LOVE visiting the theatre. The best shows I've ever seen in my life have been Cleansed, Ballyturk and Edward II. All National Theatre productions.
