Basically I was born and bred near Orléans, I moved to England for twelve years where I taught MFL and genuinely enjoyed living there: it has everything: nature, the seaside, the food, lovely people, an amazing community, festivals, music, history ... :D - Now back near Orléans where I teach English and loving it too! Travelled for 9 months in India, Sri Lanka and Singapore before moving back to France to do a Masters in Education, and now teaching full time in the Loire Valley. My friends would describe me as an outgoing, bubbly, warm, nurturing, positive, talkative and a little eccentric! I love music, literature and films, walking in the sunshine or rain, museums & festivals, tea parties and of course traveling (mostly off the beaten track).

Meeting like minded people, great tips on traveling to unique places and talking to people who have amazing experiences. I'm really hoping to welcome lovely people in my house, show you around or just swap life stories. I love my area, it's gorgeous, full of nature and birds with the river Loire down the road. We have a lovely independant theatre, a couple of gorgeous bookshops and lots to explore!

I did a trek in the Himalayas and lived three months in Dharamsala when traveling in India. I was a tourist guide in two of Shakespeare's houses when I was young(er!!). Hmm teaching kids, kinda lucky to be able to do that too, right?
