I am an open-minded person who loves exploring new places and getting to know different cultures. I’m studying Social Sciences in Berlin while using every opportunity to travel in between semesters. After graduating from high school in 2019 I was planning to take some time off to travel and do some volunteering but bc of covid one gap year quickly turned into two. I started my last long trip in October 2020 and spent almost a year in Turkey, Egypt, Central Asia and Georgia. I’ve had the amazing opportunity to combine my travels with 4 month of volunteering for NGOs supporting refugees.

I want to see more of a place than just the main attractions and I think CS is one of the best ways to do so. I‘m interested in meeting people of different backgrounds, hearing their stories, learning about their lives in their countries and telling my own experiences in exchange.

I love rock and indie, such as Pink Floyd, Bowie, Metallica, RHCP, Talking Heads, Bob Dylan, Led Zeppelin, King Gizzard and Molchat Doma. Some of my favourite movies are Only Lovers Left Alife, Good Will Hunting, Half Nelson and Mommy by Xavier Dolan (one of the most impressive movies I‘ve watched).
