Couchsurfing allows me to get in touch with locals in an easier way. Besides I like the possibility to spend a night at a local's home.

One of my best experiences was the work as volunteer in Bolivia for one year. I could know the people from a different point of view, considering that I was not there as a tourist with limited time. In this time, I got a lot of valuable impressions of other cultures.
