Single outgoing English female traveller. Trying to regain that life/work balance. Generally live a quiet life in the countryside, until I get bored and go travelling again! Like horse riding and sailing. When at home I work self-employed helping support senior residents to remain living independently in their own home - a bit of a girl friday. Ran a number of my own businesses over the years and lived and worked in London for 20 years but now trying to take a step back and enjoy life ... maybe get around to finding a husband at some point, when I've got more time ;) Until then Carp Diem! :)

When I'm crewing on friends' yachts I sometimes need a bed for a couple of nights until my berth on the boat becomes available. As a single female its nice to meet a decent local and experience the local low down of wherever I'm staying rather than staying in a hostel alone.
