Hi, I'm Louie. I'm new here. I am a graduate student, taking my MS degree, at the University of the Philippines. Going on adventures is something that I love. I feel a rush of excitement and curiosity when I go on adventures. I can't say that I'm a seasoned traveller but I'd love to be one someday. I'm kind of awkward at first. It takes me some time to be comfortable around new people but when we 'click', I would end up talking to you for hours, asking you questions and also sharing my experiences to you. I love food. I believe that every country has a new taste to offer and biting into the cuisine of the country gives you a taste of the country's culture and identity. I love taking photos but I have more to learn. My current living situation does not permit me to host but I'd be happy to join you and take you around if you're in Manila.

I am a curious guy so when I heard about couchsurfing I signed up for it. I felt like I have always been inside my comfort zone and never really experienced the essence of travelling. Hopefully, CS will help me get out there. I look forward to meeting new people and knowing them; understanding their culture and learning about it. I also like to share my experiences, my background, and our culture.

Not really into books. I like listening to old songs (80's and 90's) even though I have trouble remembering the title and lyrics of the songs. I also like watching any kind of movie--action, comedy, rom-com, drama--as long as it stimulates my curiosity. I am a binge-watcher of TV series. As of the moment my favorite is Brooklyn Nine-Nine.

I can teach you the Filipino languages (Tagalog and other languages in the Philippines) or Filipino songs. I can also cook Filipino dishes, especially dishes from Northern Philippines since it's where I grew up.

I can cook Filipino dishes. Aside from the stories , it's something I really really want to share with my hosts. Our family also collects refrigerator magnets from all our travels, so it's something I can give to the hosts as well.
