I'm relatively new to couchsurfing but I really like the concept! I mean, which traveller/ backpacker would not like the opportunity of meeting new people, especially locals of the place they travel to, having great chats and an amazing time with them and on top of it being given a free place to stay for a night or more? So far I haven't had too many couchsurfing experiences, but those I had were great! I'm already looking forward to my next host and of course, I'm planning to be a host myself eventually- as soon as I have my own place, that is.

That's a tough one! I love reading and I read a lot, so it's difficult to list only a few of the books I've read and like here. My all-time- favourite is and will most likely always be Jane Austen's "Pride and Prejudice". It just always cheers me up, and I love the way the characters are described and her (slightly) ironic style of writing. I also love books by Ken Follet, David Baldacci, Joy Fielding and Mark Twain (his essay about the awful German language is hilarious and true) and I love historical novels. When it comes to music, I listen to almost anything, really. Except most of the german rap music (not being able to not understand the text often makes it so much worse), heavy metal and German Schlager (you'd have to be drunk to enjoy those in my opinion). Oh, and I also play piano :)
