Luiz a master brewer who spent 27 lovely years living in Curitiba, Brazil, but moved to the US and Europe to study in 2012. A long long time ago he had a project in which he taught entrepreneurship and business administration for young designers, which let him travel more than 30,000 km all around Brazil (yay, travel for free!). Then he got fed up with all the business-speech-crap and became a brewer (hooray, beer for free!). After working in India (yes, India), Belgium, Costa Rica and Switzerland, he is now focusing on improving his collection of used toothpicks. He doesn't usually refer to himself in the third person, though. "I don't care to belong to a club that accepts people like me as members." - Groucho Marx

我为什么使用Couchsurfing
Ive been hosting people from CS since 2009, and non-CSers for even longer. I guess that pretty much summarizes it. I think hosting is all about hospitality and making someone feel him or herself at home. Unfortunately, not everyone agrees. (We kind of feel akward with all this people calling themselves "openminded and easygoing" and then setting a whole textbook of rules and guidelines of "how-to-stay-at-my-house".) COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE Luiz has travelled a lot in Brazil doing couchsurfing in friends or friends-of-friends' houses, way before he actually found out about this site...
