Well, It's just the perfect way to travel and meet people you would have never met otherwise or see places you would have never found yourself. When I visit a place it is always great to spend time with the people who live there and know it from the inside out. It gives you a much better insight into the culture and lifestyle! In return, It is nice to give a place to travellers knowing that this is also the way I like to travel myself. Hence, I host because I would love other people to do the same for me once!

A nice meal, a good conversation or a laugh. Also, I can offer a place to stay in my house that I share with good friends in a cute student town in the south of the Netherlands. There is actually a lot to do if you know where to go (for instance jamsessions and free vegan food nights at the squads in town). I can also, help you plan you trip to Amsterdam if you intend to travel further, because thats where I grew up.

Film and documentaries, philosopy, surfing, music, summer evenings, good food, good wine .. I always love to go to an art exhibition or a place with live music. And I will hardly ever say no to a party!
