I think Couchsurfing is so brilliant. The idea being a host or becoming a traveler to serve or visit people coming from different background and culture from us could help us becoming a more well-rounded human being. People I meet while on the road become some of the most valued names on my contact list. They become places on the map that i need to visit later on. These folks give me a glimpse outside my hometown circle of friends, and force me to take in new and refreshing perspectives, and ultimately realize that everyone is the same.
