Hi, everyone! My name is Maria and am Russian. I have grown up in Saint-Petersburg, where I still live and work. I love traveling and learning foreign languages. 我为什么使用Couchsurfing
I'd like to see the world, but also I'd want to feel it. The best way to do it for me, is to get in touch with locals and live in the new city like they do. As well I am only 21 y.o. so where I can find enough money to travel the world? So couchsurfing is perfect in order to travel, get fun and practise languages.

Hm, as my fav music I can't name anything. If I have a mood I can hear everything (I have heard Russian rock and chanson in my road trip from Saint-P. to Berlin so nothing could be worse). But some of my bests are The Beatles, georgian band Mgzavrebi, Ed Sheeran is nice with his romantic songs time to time. Movies (it's always hard to choose, but): I love really good comedies, a little bit drama to cry some autumn day, detectives and something good. And my favorite! Books!: I really like to read, prefer paper books and can't stand electronic ones. The best things I have read in the last time: Shantaram, 1984, Clockwork Orange and the half from Remark.
我做过的一件令人惊叹的事
An amazing thing I've done is a road trip in Iceland, living in the adapted car in the end of the April (hope you can imagine the weather and conditions in that period). It was the most amazing thing ever: best views, each time new location for sleeping, that you can choose on your own, nobody around you just nature and farm animals. It was cool, I hope to do it again ones!
