I've been travelling by bike since I was 16. I've travelled for small periods in Canada and United States but what I really appreciate are long trips. I've been in Europe in 1990 for 4 months, in South-East Asia with my husband for 4 months in 2002 and in Vietnam and Laos with my family in 2014 for 3 months. Travelling by bike, offered me many contact opportunities with local people. I would like to meet people with whom I could discuss more thoroughly, either in English or in French. I'm also interested in learning other languages. It will be a pleasure for me to receive guests at my house after october 1st 2016. I will be travelling by tandem bike with my 12-year-old son, Étienne, from Paris to Istanbul from mid april to september 2016.

I appreciate various styles of music: folk, jazz, music from the 80's, chanson française et québécoise, world music... I prefer independent movies to blockbusters. I read novels and essays on various subjects.
