I've created this account for mine and my boyfriend's benefice. We are both living and studying in Paris (at the same subway station than the Tour Eiffel), where we would love to receive you ! > Augustin: Profession : He is a doctor, starting his residency (=specialization). General facts about his childhood and teenage years : My dear love has the double nationality : French-Danish. He comes from the wine production region of Beaujolais -well known for its Beaujolais Nouveau- He is the n°5 of a 6 children family. Anecdote: After some years of rugby, he actually find out a real passion through classic danse during a trip in Saint-Petersburg. > Marielle (me) : Profession : I'm currently doing an internship at UNESCO on fundraising. On the side, I'm finishing my last semester of Master in Peace Studies (a branch of International Relations). General facts about my childhood and teenage years : I've spend some of my childhood and teenage years abroad with 4 years in Canada, 1 year in the USA, as well as in Bolivia (South America), Croatia, England and near by the Italian border. My parents and 3 younger brothers and sister are settled in Lyon where I met Augustin. Anecdote: I sign up my first contract as a sailor monitor, starting in January. I shall pass the skipper level, I hope more easily than my though learning of Chinese.

我为什么使用Couchsurfing
We love travelling (not really original for someone in Couchsurfing). Indeed, we are planning on one huge trip once year. 2019 : we are doing the Transiberian from Moscou to Pekin with a detour by Mongolia. We both desire to work in the humanitary sector. Followed from a growing-up in an international context, our home is open to friends from all around the world. To be honnest, some day it looks more at an hostel than a couple flat... We have a sincere interest in the "other". We love meeting people, learning new languages, discover regions and sharing our passion and place. Both of our carrers are oriented toward the help to the others, we need it to find a meaning to our job.

We have hundred of books at our place, both of our moms have done litterature's sudies. Therefore, we read books (either in french, spanish, english, danish or german). Nevertheless, we enjoy particulary comics :). If you have any suggestion of a book, a movie or a music you liked, please recommand it to us !!

Marielle : I've done a part of the jungle in Bolivia walking and sailing on a pirogue. At some point, I went swimming with pink Dolfins in the same water than the one I've fished pirahnas and have noticied caimans. Augustin : Almost as tremendous as her, she intended to cook a cake. But she mixed up the flour and the icing sugar. I've try and I SURVIVE !
