CURRENT MISSION To learn the German language, trying to grasp the opportunity to learn about German culture and making friends. ABOUT ME Changed my live from living on the fast lane (with good money, no time and a lot of stress) to living off the grid (guess that was the parking place ;-)(no money, a lot of work and no time) to take part in several NGOs and working as an manger for EU projects (small money ,if you share, a lot of social responsibility and stress). Now it is some cross country road and I am quite satisfied about it . I am psyched to find out where it gonna lead me to. PHILOSOPHY Things have to be in balance.

我为什么使用Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING I love travelling and getting to know people and CS really fits with my philosophy of helping people out and learning/experiencing new things. I think it's about offering and reaching out and meeting people, not just about a couch to crash ;-) Of course in case of emergency you are also welcome for that. “And about respect - You enter people's most private areas. I am as careful as possible. So I expect the same from you. If I have the feeling you just do CS to avoid a hotel/hostel at every cost, I won't host you. If you're respectful & friendly however, you will have a great time at my place (with or without me)” COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE I am new to couchsurfing, but used to host guests due to a long membership on hospitalityclub.org. I've done more hosting now than I have been surfing, but this could evens out sometime in the future ;-) And somehow every hitchhiker in Croatia is a member of couchsurfing.com Right now I try to take part at some CS events and hopefully succeed to meet other couchsurfers from the town I moved to.

I prefer to have every day one small Amazing thing then one big Amazing Thing in my whole life. Spending 3 days on the Oktoberfest in Munich. Cooking lunch for my parents and their guests on their Golden anniversary Fifty years of marriage deserves some fuss.

Learn: You can learn from everybody (good and bad things) Sustainable living is on top of the list, right now and speaking German of course!!!!! Share: Sharing makes everything more worthy.

I don't know where to start (or to stop) OK, my special interests are sustainable living, architecture, earth building and straw-baling, car sharing, nature, different cultures, healthy good food (I'd like to learn (and try) recipes for as many vegetarian dishes as possible). I love people and basketball ;-) All the rest you have to find out yourself.
