We camp a lot on our bike travels but nothing compares to meeting people with the same enthusiasm for adventure and new experiences. We also stay with people on warmshowers.com for the same reason. The world feels like a scary place a lot of the time but the kindness we receive from complete strangers reminds me that everything's pretty alright after all.

Constantly on the search for new and interesting music. Right now currently into making and listening to ambient field recordings. Lawrence English, William Basinski, Grouper, things like that. On our bike tour to Europe this summer I plan to collect field recordings along the way, turning it into a field recording sort of "journal".

For my honeymoon my wife and I rode a tandem bicycle from Austin to New Orleans. The southern U.S. is...not very used to bicycles and not the safest place in the world to ride. Still one of the greatest adventures we've ever had!
