CURRENT MISSION to enjoy where I am in life and make the most of opportunities that present themselves. ABOUT ME I try to be open to new experiences and not let past experiences dictate future ones. I enjoy meeting new people and sharing good conversation. I enjoy exploring and mini-adventures where I get to 'discover' a place all on my own... this could be through a walk in my city or a backpacking adventure on the other side of the world. There is always the opportunity to discover something new! I enjoy being outdoors, creative opportunities (mainly in art and the kitchen), animals and learning. PHILOSOPHY In the words of Francis Bacon, "it is a sad fate for a man to die too well known to others and not well known to himself".

我为什么使用Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING Mainly I surf... but I also really enjoy showing off my neck of the woods. I am not in position to host at the moment but happy to give the inside scoop, and if possible meet up for a hike or local adventure! COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE My best couch surfing experience wasn't an official CS one... I was backpacking in Bolivia and met a family on a bus that invited me and my sister to stay with them to see the 'real' Bolivia. That was wonderful and so fulfilling! There is nothing better than the 'local experience'.

I mainly listen to jazz, indie, classical... music that kind of lets me space out and becomes the background to whatever I am doing. I know very few band names and am not great for discussing music with :/

I've been fortunate enough to have done and seen a fair bit. My most recent amazing experience was sailing the North West Passage! I am so thankfu for so many wonderful experiences!
