Hi, I'm Mattias and when I'm travelling I like to get to know the country and it's people and just have a good time. Discovering new cities is nice. But having conversations with locals and share thoughts about our differences and things in common is truely interesting and what travelling is about.

I think it's the greatest app I have on my phone. Everyone should try it. It makes you a traveller instead of a tourist. Certainly in times like these it is important to meet people from all over the world and have a good time with each other.

Life is music! I like to go to festivals and concerts, to blast music in the car with windows open or just at home to chill. Every year I go to Belgium's biggest festival: Rock Werchter Some of my favourite bands: Dire Straits, Pink Floyd, dEUs, Rolling Stones, Muse, Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Foo Fighters, Black Keys, Moby, John Fogerty, U2, Oasis, ... Movies with intruiging stories are always cool to watch. We could discuss particular movies, scenes, dialogues and their deeper meaning. Or just about how ridiculously funny they somethimes are :)

When I was bored at work I quit it and started backpacking for 9 months through Europe. 1 year after I got back I was bored again and took off to North America for 3 months. Then 2 years later there was a 3 month tour around SE Asia. These trips were unbelievable experiences and developed me as a person.

History especially keeps interesting me. It's sometimes bizarre how some events hundreds of years ago can lead to situations today. I like to exchange knowledge about the history of countries. Too many things happened on this old continent and the rest of the world to be comprehended by one person. So you can learn new facts from everyone :) Other than that I can share Belgian food with you, take you to a football game, let you hear some hidden gems from the Belgian music scene, show you around,...
