I'm floating around Europe at the moment and I think this is one of the best ways to gain a real insight into a country, its culture, and its people. Seeing a country through the eyes of a local is an entirely different experience to staying in a hotel or hostel - some of my best trips have been thanks to the kind hearts and open minds of those I met through couchsurfing. I plan to return the favour when I can!

I'll try anything new, whether it's cooking or a language or a sport - and I'll share what I know too; a new language, card games, football, anything I can! Love a good chat and sharing stories. Sharing ideas and getting (at least) a glimpse of different perspectives is so important.
