My boyfriend and I stumbled onto Couchsurfing when we thru-hiked the Appalachian Trail (Mickey and Minnie, SOBO 2016). We ran across so much generosity and strive to pay it forward for the rest of our lives! We're married and live in TN now and love adventuring in the woods with our pup. Ryan's out on the Tour Divide now and might need a little help along the way.

We were inspired by the community we found on the trail and have a lot of giving back to do - and a lot more traveling and people to meet too. We know how nice it is to stay in a real bed when you're a weary traveler!

We love anything outdoors! Waterfalls are our favorites with a good stealth site. I'm in the local community band so we have a few instruments stowed. We have a nice movie theater we frequent down the road. LOTS of books to catch your fancy if you're a reader and a front porch to sit.
