我为什么使用Couchsurfing
Currently only hosting last minute requests (same day up to one week in advance is fine). Requests more than a week in advance will be declined. If you are requesting to stay with me: -Please read my profile and my home section. I live in a touristy city and get a shit ton of requests; I will not host someone who won’t even put in the effort to know their host. -Tell me about why you want to stay with me. I only host people I have things in common with or find interesting. If you can’t think of something then we are not a good fit. -If you have never hosted, please include an explanation of why you have not hosted. -Use the request button to send me a couch request, do not message me first. -For new surfers, this is a great article to read on how to write a good request: https://ianrobinson.net/how-to-write-an-effective-couchsurfing-request/ I will decline any copy and paste requests, and by that I mean if you can change the name on your request and send it to anyone else, it will be declined. I don’t like being a hardass, but I’m tired of getting requests from people who put no effort in their requests and treat me like a free hotel. If you are queer please mention it in your request, I love hosting other like minded people. I lived in Zambia for seven years, went to an international school and met people from all over the world there. I learned so much from that experience and hope to keep doing that through couchsurfing. I've met people I would otherwise never have the opportunity to interact with, heard interesting stories and perspectives, had great conversations, and learned so much. I’m on here because I enjoy making genuine human connections, and I hope to host people with the same mindset.
我做过的一件令人惊叹的事
It's too hard to just pick one so here's a few: I worked on a National Geographic research project in Tanzania one summer and made some exciting new discoveries, spent seven weeks backpacking across Europe when I was a student, studied abroad in New Zealand for a semester, walked to the bottom of the Grand Canyon and back in two days, and walked 500km on the Camino de Santiago.
