CURRENT MISSION to learn from people and places ABOUT ME I love writing and traveling though most of the places I've traveled to abroad are more rural. I've been all over Alaska, from hitchhiking to teaching safety in schools for the state department of transportation and village travel in the Northern Alaska for my job. I love spontaneous travel but organized is good too and good company is the most important thing of all! I am a published writer, serious long distance runner, and like to play guitar and sing. I also speak some Russian and some Spanish. I love reading probably more than almost anything else and I'm always looking for new books and amazing people to meet. PHILOSOPHY Everybody needs a hug.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING I would love for you to stay with me but unfortunately right now there's barely enough space in my apartment for me. I would love to show you around or give you any advise you need though. It's pretty desolate out here, but is is undeniably amazing. COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE I've couch surfed in Alaska before and lived with families I didn't know before in Russia, which is kind of like couch surfing. I have traveled internationally as well and stayed with people in Germany, Czech Republic, Belgium, Italy, Bulgaria, Serbia, Bosnia, Croatia, Montenegro, Hungary, Ukraine, Turkey, Greece, Korea, and Japan.
