We cherish this exchange and will do our best to make you feel welcomed and comfortable. However, to ensure a pleasant and harmonious stay for everyone, we kindly ask for your cooperation regarding cleanliness. Malaysia’s climate is warm and humid, quite different from colder countries. We have had experiences with guests who, after a long day outdoors, return home without showering and sit on the furniture or beds in the same clothes worn throughout the day. To maintain a fresh and comfortable environment for all, we kindly request that guests take a shower and change into clean clothes before relaxing on shared spaces. My wife and I initially planned to stop hosting because Couchsurfing now requires an annual subscription fee, which costs us per year. However, we have been hosting for a long time and truly value this community, so we decided to continue supporting it by paying the subscription. To help sustain this, we provide a small donation box for guests who wish to contribute voluntarily and sincerely. Even a small contribution helps us slowly cover the yearly subscription cost, so this hosting and community spirit can continue. We deeply appreciate your understanding and respect for our home. I fell from the top of a majestic waterfall, plunging over 150meters due to a slip. As I crashed into the waters below, my head was injured, bleeding, and pain surged through my shoulder and back. The doctors suspected a dislocated shoulder, and I was admitted to the hospital. But after an X-ray, it turned out that my spine and shoulder were perfectly intact—a true miracle. For a moment, I thought my life had ended, but here I am, alive and well, ready to be discharged tomorrow and return to normal life. Many might carry trauma from such an experience, but when I look back, I see it as something extraordinary—perhaps a once-in-a-lifetime adventure that only I have lived. You can see in my photo just how breathtakingly high that waterfall truly is.
