Recently moved to Amsterdam to ride bikes and eat fries. Swapped hiking the mountains of British Columbia for the near-vertical stairs to my apartment. I've hosted previously in Manchester, Hamburg, Berlin and Vancouver and now will try it in Amsterdam. Couchsurfing should be a beneficial experience for host and surfer, so I will reject all generic requests as well as any that have clearly not read my profile (including the my home section)

Over the years I've met and hosted many people and while some are just brief encounters, others I consider to be my true friends. I enjoy teaching people history and fun facts of the places I live in and meeting interesting people from around the world.
