Throughout my childhood travels I was only able to experience different places from a hotel. I feel that traveling through couch surfing gives you the opportunity to better immerse yourself in the culture and lifestyle of the place that you are visiting, and make friendships that you otherwise would not if you stayed in a standard hotel chain. I love the idea of showing people around my city, or having people show me spots around theirs that I otherwise would not know about. Couch surfing is a more personalized experience and I am excited to become a part of the community.

I raced BMX at a competitive level for the greater part of my life. Through this sport I was able to experience numerous countries and cultures around the world from a young age as I competed at world championship events, which is where my passion for travel ignited. I have made so many lifelong friends through this sport, with many being from every corner of the world.
