We are a couple, Nik (English/German/Irish) and Mariam (Georgian). We are both documentary filmmakers and we make films together, mainly with social and political themes but from a very personal perspective. We always look for stories that come from the heart of people and we try to put ourselves in situations where we can feel a new point of view of life. We live in Tbilisi with our three beautiful daughters.

This is a possibility to meet different people and to discover the real life of the places we visit. We like to see life behind the tourist trail, the reality behind the mask because, in our experience, this is more beautiful and a lot more interesting.
我做过的一件令人惊叹的事
We recently got married after 8 years together. For 8 years we have been making documentary films together. One film we started just after we met and it is finally come to fruition this year. It is about an old Russian palace in the Georgian mountains where all the inhabitants are ex-offenders and other socially excluded people who have TB and are waiting there indefinitely for their fate to transpire. Over these 8 years the building came to life and presented us with its magic and ghosts.
