Retired from manufacturing management and then a second career as a nurse. I enjoy hiking, backpacking, kayaking, bicycling and traveling. Grew up in Northern California, move to Pittsburgh Pennsylvania for 30 years and now have retired back in Northern California in the small mountain town of Cool.

I like to get a more local flavor when I travel. I like to be out and about during the day, so I really just need a bed and an occasional shower. I like hearing about other peoples lifestyles and their jobs. Couch surfing will let me see how other people live and understand the challenges and enjoyment in their lives.
